ingredients
1 organic yellow onion
1/4 cup organic cashew butter
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1-2 cups bone broth
1 tsp garlic powder or fresh garlic
pinch of salt and pepper
1 tbsp lemon juice
how to make
chop onion & place into pan over medium heat
add 1 cup of bone broth to pan
add garlic, salt & pepperÂ
let onions simmer until all liquid has evaporated (~10 min). Add more bone broth if needed
transfer onion to small plate & let cool
in a blender, add cashew butter, lemon juice, parmesan cheese, 1/4 cup of remaining bone broth, and onions
blend & add more bone broth if neededÂ
once creamy consistency is achieved, pour over pasta and mix
yum, enjoy!
