breakfast oats

this is how we like to make breakfast oats! feel free to use this as a blueprint for your own creations!

ingredients


  • 1/3 cup organic gf sprouted oats

  • 1 tbsp organic hemp hearts

  • 1 tbsp organic ground flax/chia seeds

  • 1 tsp maca

  • 1 scoop protein powder

  • pinch of organic ceylon cinnamon

  • 1 cup wild organic blueberries and/or pinch of monk fruit

  • water or milk



how to make


  1. in a medium pot, bring water & salt to a boil. add oats, reduce heat to simmer & cover. cook oats for ~5-8 min or desired tenderness

  2. mix in hemp hearts & flax/chia seeds

  3. mix in 1-2 scoops protein powder (the protein powder we use already has monk fruit in it)

  4. top with blueberries

  5. eat up!



substitutes & additions!

  • pumpkin seeds, walnuts, your favorite nut butter, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, banana, collagen powder, vanilla extract


breakfast tips!

  • the less sugar in the morning, the better

  • focus on getting at least 20-30g of protein every morning

  • store your nuts/seeds in refrigerator
