grass-fed meatballs

this is how we like to make meatballs! feel free to use this as a blueprint for your own creations!

ingredients


  • 1lb grass-fed/finished ground beef

  • 1 organic pasture-raised egg

  • 1 cup sourdough bread crumbs

  • ½ cup organic parmesan cheese (extra for topping)

  • ½ tsp organic red pepper flake

  • ½ tsp organic thyme 

  • ½ tsp organic oregano

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • 1 jar organic pasta sauce


how to make


  1. in a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, & spices. mix with hands and form into medium sized balls

  2. layer marinara sauce on glass baking dish and place meatballs on sauce. add more sauce on top of meatballs before placing in oven

  3. bake meatballs at 375 for 25-30 minutes

  4. serve warm on their own or on top of pasta noodles

  5. top with trader joe's chili crunch, homemade alfredo sauce, or fresh grated parmesan for extra yum
